Definition: Manager or above that works in the operations of a licensed cannabis retail store that sells more than one manufacturer’s brand(s) to consumers.
Registration is for paid employees or paid contractors currently working for the licensed retailer. We may ask for proof of employment before approving the badge if it is not apparent.

Vertical
Definition: Manager or above that works in the operations for a vertically integrated licensed cannabis company that includes cultivation, lab and extraction, manufacturing, and retail sectors. Retail must sell more than one manufacturer’s brand or family of brands to consumers.

Definition: Manager of above who works for a licensed cannabis company that holds inventory from more than one manufacturer’s brand or family of brands and transports those cannabis products to a retail outlet. Distributor / Delivery B2B also applies to Class 3 wholesalers in NJ.

Accredited Investor
Definition: Either an individual who meets the requirements defined in Securities and Exchange Regulation D and is actively investing in the cannabis space; or an executive of an entity or institution that can demonstratively provide funding to licensed cannabis operators. The latter includes executives from family offices, venture funds, banks, and credit unions who actively lend, investment banks, hedge funds, pension funds, or any other institutional investment fund.
Professionals whose primary employment is an ancillary service provider, such as a lawyer or consultant, whose income exceeds $300,000 a year, but is not actively investing in the space, are not qualified to attend as an accredited investor.

Definition: A scientist who directly works in cannabis research with a university/college or research facility.
