LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–MJ Unpacked, an elite CPG trade event for cannabis industry executives, premieres October 21-22 in Las Vegas. MJ Unpacked aims to give cannabis retailers, THC CPG brands, and investors much needed opportunities to connect and collaborate. Registration opens today, and tickets are free for dispensary license holders and their managing teams.
How is MJ Unpacked different from the average cannabis trade show? The company describes the event as “an entrepreneurs’ playground that refines the conference experience.” Attendance is exclusive to cannabis retail and brand executives (with the title manager and above) and accredited investors. A very limited number of exhibit spaces are available for ancillary companies.
“Large pan-industry events can be very dilutive on people’s return on objectives,” says George Jage, co-founder and CEO of Jage Media, producers of MJ Unpacked. “Our event requires all attendees to be qualified in order to create an executive summit environment where people can connect with other decision makers to get deals done, not just exchange business cards.”
With 28 years of trade show leadership experience, Jage was named “Tradeshow Elite” by Tradeshow Executive and the “Next Generation of Leaders” by Tradeshow Week Magazine. Previous events led by Jage have been recognized among the fastest growing shows in the United States.
MJ Unpacked will be held on October 21 – 22 at The South Seas Convention Center at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The event will feature panel discussions among industry leaders; conference sessions that address retail and brand pain points; mixers for brands and retailers; investor pitches; bars and live music; and a TBA concert benefiting restorative justice in cannabis.
