Online shopping just got elevated. Canadian retailer Fire & Flower has announced an expansion of its e-commerce offerings through online branded dispensaries. The expansion will enable direct-to-consumer sales through drop shipping for licensed producers.

The new virtual retail platforms are powered by Fire & Flower’s data and analytics platform, Hifyre. The online dispensaries will allow consumers to shop specific cannabis products and get their orders fulfilled at one of the company’s 100+ retail locations or through its subsidiary, Pineapple Express Delivery. Initially available brands include Auxly, Aleafia, Cronos Group, FIGR, and Wagners

The e-commerce platforms will also generate digital advertising revenue through the Hifyre Reach platform, which connects brands to consumers and measures purchasing behavior.

“This direct-to-consumer online model will drive new opportunities to more effectively serve our expanding customer base and support our sales growth,” said Andrew MacMillan, SVP Commercial at Auxly.
