OK, next. Oklahoma’s Nirvana Group is expanding into New Mexico. The company is expected to open a 30,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Albuquerque by the end of this month where it will produce house and partner brands, beverages, cannabis-infused sauces, and offer white label services.
Nirvana Group and partner brand products are expected to hit New Mexico dispensary shelves this October. In-house brands include the Sunrise line of beverages, gummies, and chocolates; Black Gold line of vapes and extracts; Asteroid infused pre-rolls; and SAUZE THC-infused sauces, with ketchup, BBQ, sriracha, cajun, buffalo, steak, and chipotle.
The Nirvana Group’s move into New Mexico comes after the company opened a smoke shop in Albuquerque this July, where they sell vaporizers, infusers, glass, and paper. The company also plans to open its own dispensaries in New Mexico once they select suitable locations.
Operating in Oklahoma for more than a decade, the Nirvana Group currently runs a 30-acre cultivation and extraction facility, a 3,000 square-foot processing facility, and a commercial kitchen. Back in April, the company partnered with Love Yer Brain for the cultivation, sourcing, and manufacturing of the company’s brain-shaped gummies in Oklahoma.
“We’re very excited to launch in New Mexico, a recently adopted adult-use market that shows a lot of promise of growth,” said The Nirvana Group CEO, Arshad Lasi. “We believe there is a strong demand for more innovative and consumer-friendly cannabis brands and products, presenting us with an opportunity to further develop our business and provide the market with new options.”
Though the New Mexico market is fresh, there are plenty of cannabis brands making their mark in the Land of Enchantment. We’ll be keeping an eye on the state’s market as more out-of-state players enter.
