Getting to MJ Unpacked

Flying In

The best option for flying into Atlantic City is to arrive in Philadelphia (PHL). It is about an hour from PHL to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Almost all major carriers service PHL.

Once you land in Philly, you have a few options….

Uber/Lyft
- This will run you about $150 each way depending on any peak surcharges.
Car Service
- We partnered with Geiger Limo to offer various car service options. This is the best option if you are coming in with a group. Rates are as follows;
  - Luxury Sedan (1-2 passengers) $250
  - Luxury SUV (5 passengers) $300
  - Luxury Limousine (7 passengers) $325
  - Mercedes Limo Sprinter (12 passengers) $575
  - Mercedes Sprinter Executive (14 passengers) $575
  - Coach Minibus (23 passengers) $750
  - Coach Minibus (27 passengers) $775
- Pricing includes all fees and the driver’s gratuity. Additional stops are $50 per stop. The wait charge is $60 per hour (the first 30 minutes are free, and the 31st minute is billed hourly). To book with Geiger, click here to reserve.
Train
- The NJ Transit service to AC leaves from the 30th Street station so you will need to leave the airport and grab a cab or rideshare. It’s about 12 minutes away. You will arrive at the Atlantic City Convention Center but your ticket includes a free Jitney to the Hard Rock.
If you opt to fly into Newark
- The train will be your best option. Make your way to the Newark Airport train station located within the airport complex. You can take the AirTrain from the terminals to reach the Newark Airport train station. Once there, board an NJ Transit train heading southbound on the North Jersey Coast Line. You will need to switch trains at the 30th Street Station in Philly and board the Atlantic City Rail Line.

From NYC

You have 3 options. Bus, train, or car. Travel time on the bus is about 2h 30m and only $42/round trip. Visit the NJ Transit site for more details. Travel time by train is about 3h 45m. Great if you need to get some work done. Take the Amtrack or NJ Transit to the 30th St Station in Philly. Transfer to the Atlantic City Rail Line.
