We are committed to ensuring event protocols are in place that follows the CDC and the Nevada State Department of Health guidelines. The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino also has implemented rigorous cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention processes under its Seven-Point Safety Plan.
In accordance with government guidance and local mandates, MJ Unpacked will follow these standards:
Delegates that are not fully vaccinated (we ask during registration, and require proof of vaccination) will be required to wear a mask.
We will follow the six feet physical distance rule and provide floor dots throughout the event as reminders.
We’ll monitor event capacity overall and in meeting rooms specifically.
Directional signage will keep traffic flowing smoothly to avoid congestion in areas that could lead to close contact.
Educational session areas will have limited capacity, safely distanced seating, and increased cleaning protocols. Popular sessions may be video streamed to additional rooms.
Exhibitor areas will be spacious – with increased room between booths, safety monitoring, and directional signage to maintain traffic flow.
Meeting rooms will be spacious.
Hand washing stations, sanitizer, tissues, and disposable facemasks will be available in clearly marked areas.
Registration will be contact-free.
High-touch areas will have increased cleaning, including bathrooms, handrails, door handles, elevator buttons, and countertops.
Food and beverages will be safely packaged or distributed for minimal contact. And will be managed by trained staff wearing proper PPE. Seating will be physically distanced and outside when possible.
Plexi-glass guards will be in high-interaction areas such as help desks, food or beverage stations, and registration stations.
